Content imported by content crawlers or submitted by users might require administrator approval before it can be seen by your portal's users.
This topic discusses:
To preview the document, click the icon next to
the document name. The icon varies depending on the document file format
(for example, for .pdf files and
for .doc
files).
To view only documents from specific content crawlers,
clickFilter, then,
in the Filter By Content Crawlers dialog box, select the content crawlers
with documents you want to approve and click OK.
To view a specific range of documents, enter the starting and ending item numbers in the View Items boxes, and click >>.
If there are more than 15 documents waiting approval, you can view the next 15 documents by clicking Next >> at the bottom of the page, or you can view another set of 15 documents by clicking a number range.
To sort documents by a particular column, click the column name.
To change the name of a document, edit the name in the Name text box.
To change the description of a document, edit the text in the Description text box.
To edit the properties, language, and other settings
for this document, click .
To mark a document for approval in all its target
folders, select (approve) to the left of the document.
To mark a document for approval in only one target
folder, select (approve) to the left of the folder.
To mark a document for rejection in all its target
folders, select (reject) to the left of the document.
To mark a document for rejection in only one target
folder, select (reject) to the left of the folder.
To mark a document for later action (hold) in
all its target folders, select (hold) to the left of the
document.
To mark a document for later action (hold) in
only one target folder, select (hold) column to the left
of the folder.
To make the document available in another target
folder and mark it for approval, later action, or rejection, click
Add Document
Folder and select the target folder from the Add Document Folder
dialog box.
To mark all currently displayed documents for
approval in all their target folders, click Approve
All.
To mark all currently displayed documents for
rejection in all their target folders, click Reject
All.
To mark all currently displayed documents for
later action (hold) in all their target folders, click Hold All.
To apply your approval, rejection, or deferral
for later action settings, click Apply.
To complete the approval process and exit the page, click Finish.
