Use this page to edit general settings such as name, description, and properties for the selected document.
In General Document Properties:
In the Name text box, type a document name.
In the Description text box, type a description.
Although you can change the text in the Crawler Tag text box, you probably do not want to. This tag comes from the crawler that imported the document. The portal administrator customizes this tag in the crawler settings.
This section also displays uneditable statistics about the document:
Class ID. The ID representing the object type (in this case, document).
Object ID. The ID representing this object in this portal.
UUID. The universally unique ID representing this object. This ID is unique not only to this portal, but to any other portal to which this object is migrated.
Object Created. The date and time the document was created.
Object Last Modified. The date and time the document was last edited and saved.
Open Document URL. A clickable link to the document.
Content Type ID. The ID for the content type associated with the document.
In Document Content Language, choose a language by which to index the document. The search engine uses the language when searching.
In Customized Document Properties, you can modify properties for the selected document. Document properties are metadata about the document that the search engine uses to index the document, similar to a library card catalog.
To add a property, click Add Property. This
adds a property to the bottom of the list. Select the property you want
from the drop-down list and enter a value.
To create a property, click Create Property. This
allows you to create a brand new property not previously available in
the portal. To learn about creating properties, see Main
Settings (Property).
To remove properties, select the properties you
want to remove and click .
To change a property value, modify the property's Value column.
To toggle the properties in the list between ascending and descending alphabetical order, click Property.
In Document Information, you can view uneditable statistics about the document:
Last accessed through the portal: The last date and time a user clicked this link.
More documents like this: All portal folders that contain this link.
Number of times accessed: The number of times this link has been clicked. This statistic is updated regularly, but not continuously. Therefore, it might not always be up to date.
Popularity count: The number of unique users who have accessed this document from the portal. This statistic is updated regularly, but not continuously. Therefore, it might not always be up to date. In addition, if a document's metadata is aged, its popularity count is affected.
In Top Best Bets, you see any search terms that return this document at the top of the results (best bets are set up by your portal administrator). To learn more about best bets, see Best Bets and Top Best Bet.

To add Top Best Bets, use the Best Bets Editor in the Search Results Manager.
