Import and Export Localized Names and Descriptions

Portal objects can support localized names and descriptions, allowing users to see object names and descriptions in their chosen language. This utility allows you to download an XML file that includes the names and descriptions of all portal objects that support localization, which you can then edit and upload back into the portal. (You can also manage each object individually through the object's editor.)

To export the names and descriptions for all portal objects that support localization:

• Click Download, and save the file to your computer.

Use a text editor to edit the file as desired and save your changes.

To import your changes into the portal:

1. If necessary, return to this page.

2. Click Browse.

3. Navigate to the string file and click Open.

4. To upload and apply your changes to the portal, click Upload.
