The Bulk Add page lets you select one or more portlets or communities to add to one or more groups. You must have Admin rights to a group in order to push portlets or communities to it using bulk add. When you add a portlet to a group, the portlet appears in the My Pages of users who belong to the group. When you add a community to a group, users who belong to the group are subscribed to the community, which then appears in the users' My Communities list.
Note: Users will be able to remove portlets, or unsubscribe from communities, that you push to them through bulk add.
Each community or portlet you selected before clicking has a column in the Bulk Add Matrix. The groups listed are
the groups that have at least Read access to the community or portlet
you selected.
To add portlets or communities to groups over which you have Admin rights:
For each group listed on the left, select the portlets or communities you want to add to that group. If a group does not have access to a portlet or community object, you cannot select it. To select an entire column or row, click the icon at the bottom of the column or the end of the row.
Click Finish. The portlets or communities will be added to the groups as part of a job, so it may not happen immediately. Users who are members of the groups at the time the job runs will see those portlets or communities, but users who are added to the groups later will not.
