Select Page Layout

Use this page to choose the layout of the columns and areas for portlets on a My Page or community page. For example, you can have one column for narrow portlets on the left and another column for wide portlets on the right of the page.

To change the page layout, click the radio button next to the layout you want and click Finish to close the window.

Note: Narrow portlets can display in either narrow or wide columns in your portal, but wide portlets can display only in the wide columns.

• To display the page associated with this help topic:

1. If you are not already on the My Page or community page for which you want to select a layout, navigate to that page now.

2. Click Edit Page. Depending on what type of page you were viewing, you get one of the following results:

• If you were viewing a My Page with an adaptive page layout, the Flyout Page Editor opens. Continue with Step 3.

• If you were viewing a My Page with a legacy page layout, the Standard Page Editor opens. Skip to Step 5.

• If you were viewing a community page with an adaptive page layout, the Flyout Editor opens. Continue with Step 3.

• If you were viewing a community page with a legacy page layout, the Community Editor opens. Skip to Step 4.

3. If the Flyout Editor opened, click Go to Advanced Editor. Depending on what type of page you were viewing, you get one of the following results:

• If you were viewing a My Page, the Standard Page Editor opens. Skip to Step 5.

• If you were viewing a community page, the Community Editor opens. Continue with Step 4.

4. If you were viewing a community page, in the Community Editor, click the page for which you want to select a layout. The Page Editor opens.

5. In the Standard Page Editor, click Select Page Layout.
