This page lets you specify the default name of pages created from this template, as well as their default language and whether or not those pages support localized names.
To specify these default settings for pages created from this template:
In the Default Page Name box, type a name.
In the Primary
Language drop-down list, select the language for the
Default Page Name you supplied.
The primary language sets the default language, so users whose locale
settings are outside of the supported languages will see the name in the
primary language you have selected.
If you want to add default names for languages
other than the primary language, select Supports
Localized Names. A new section displays, allowing you to add names
for additional languages (see step 4).
Each page can have an alternate name and description for each language
that is supported in the portal. For example, if you have a page called
"Engineering," then you might have the French translation, Ingénierie,
as the alternate name for that page. So when users log in using the French
user interface, they see the page name associated with French.
If you selected Supports Localized Names, you can add names to display to users who have chosen a language for the portal display other than the primary language you selected.
Note: If this page name has
already been localized into all supported languages, you cannot add more
localized names (New Localized Name is not displayed).
When you are done, click Finish.
To remove an existing language, select
the entry you want to remove and click .
To select or clear all of the language check boxes, select or clear the check box to the left of Name.
To save the page template, click Finish.
