The Login Settings page lets you associate a guest user to this experience definition, and lets you specify the initial page a guest user sees when coming to this experience definition. For instance, if an unauthenticated user is directed to this experience definition (through application of an experience rule), you can choose to have that user see the My Page layout of the guest user you associate with this experience definition, even if the experience definition is not set to display My Pages. You can create multiple guest users with different My Page layouts for this purpose. Click here for information on how to create a guest user. To learn how to customize guest user My Page layouts, see the Guest Users section of the About Users topic.
The Login Settings page also lets you specify what all users see if they log out of this experience definition, and lets you disable single sign-on for this experience definition.
Under Guest Settings:
Click Select a Guest User, and choose a guest user to associate with this experience definition.
Under Login Page Settings:
Select whether unauthenticated (guest) users should initially see the My Page of the guest you associated with this experience definition, or the default login page for all experience definitions.
Users will be directed to the page you select
here if, in the portal configuration file, GuestRedirectToLogin is set
to 1, or if they click the "Log In" link. Otherwise, users see
the home page specified for this experience definition as their initial
view.
Note: If you did not select to
send unauthenticated users to the default login page, you might want to
add the Portal Login portlet to the selected guest's first My Page, so
that unauthenticated users can log in.
Select whether all users, upon logging out, should see the My Page of the guest you associated with this Experience Definition, or the default login page for all Experience Definitions.
Users will be directed to the page you select here if, in the portal configuration file, RedirectOnLogout is set to 1. Otherwise, upon logout, users see the home page specified for this experience definition.
Under Disable Single Sign On (SSO):
Select Disable SSO Setting to override portal SSO settings for users in this experience definition. Otherwise the SSO settings in the portal configuration file will apply. This check box is unavailable (grayed-out) if the "SSOVendor" setting is 0 in the portal configuration file.
