My Home, My Account, Logging Off, Help, and Searching

Several functions are available at the top of your portal:

• My Home lets you return to the default page that displays when you log in to your portal.

• My Account lets you edit your user profile, display options, locale settings, and search preferences, as well as view your user profile and change your password.

• Log Off logs you out of your portal.

• Help opens the help associated with the displayed page.

• Search box and button let you search for objects in your portal. Type the text you want to search for in the Search text box and click Search. For tips on writing search strings, refer to Text Search Rules.

• lets you perform an advanced search by searching the portal for text or specific document or object properties.

• lets you perform a federated search (if your portal administrator has set up any federated search resources) to search other content, portals, and Web search engines.
